Group Fitness Class Descriptions

Body Blast- is a muscle conditioning class; designed to increase strength, boost metabolism, build lean muscle mass, and firm up all major muscle groups. This class requires a barbell and step.

Yoga- will help improve muscle tone and flexibility, increase energy levels, and improve concentration & memory. Yoga will also help with weight loss in a health oriented manner.

Pilates- is designed to stretch and strengthen the deepest muscles in the body. Pilates focuses on building core strength, by working the abdominal & low back muscles.

PiYo - An athletic blend of Pilates, Yoga, and so much more. It includes modifications for the group exercise environment, yet offers exercise progressions to challenge all levels of participants.

Cardio Fusion- includes both core conditioning and aerobic paced movements. Stability and bender balls are used to enhance the effectiveness of the class.

Muscle Max- designed to increase muscular strength and endurance while sculpting your body physique. Slow controlled movements are used to target each major muscle group. Utilizing free weights, resistance tubes and power bars to get maximum results. This class will also consist of a 15 minute “Back to Abs”.

Zumba®- high energy Latin dance moves that feature motivating music and lots of variety. Intensity builds slowly and finishes with a medley of cardio bursts (shoulders shaking and hips swaying).

Low Max- continues floor aerobics with one minute drills using very basic movements combined with tempo variations. No equipment required.

Step- this low impact, moderate to high intensity workout utilizes a step platform for aerobic movement. Control you intensity by adjusting the step height.

Turbo Kick- inspired by boxing, Tae K Won Do, Tai-chi, dance, and funk. No equipment required!

TBS- cardio paced multi-muscle exercise consists of high repetitions to build strength and endurance.

Cardio Circuit- alternates traditional floor aerobics with segments of muscle conditioning.

Tap- class consists of lively, rhythmic sound and movement, while having lots of FUN!

Step/Blast – this combines both continuous cardiovascular activities and toning while utilizing the step. This class is designed to increase strength, boost metabolism, build lean muscle mass, and firm up all major muscle groups. This class requires a barbell and step.

Water Class Descriptions

Lap Pool

Hi/Lo H2O- This class provides a moderately effective
cardiovascular workout using aqua moves; designed to challenge
participants both physically and mentally. (PURE CARDIO)

New Waves- This class provides the best of both worlds; combining
cardiovascular endurance and effective muscular resistance exercises.
(COMBO)

Cross Currents- This class consists of alternating short aerobic
segments and short toning segments to maximize both aerobic and
anaerobic conditioning. (INTERVALS)

* All class concludes with abdominals, balance, and flexibility
exercises.

Therapy Pool

Healing Waves- consists of a slow controlled workout designed to
stretch, tone while providing healing activities for the entire body.

Fibromyalgia- low impact class designed to increase circulation and
reduce muscle pain.

Range of Motion- designed to increase your strength and flexibility
throughout the entire body.
